
Closing Ceremony of Korea Software HRD Center’s 13th Generation Basic Course
Phnom Penh: On Thursday, July 10th, 2025, at the Phnom Penh Hotel, Korea Software HRD Center held a Closing Ceremony for the 13th Generation Basic Course of 2025, to showcase 8 projects that the students have worked on. Joining this event includes the Chairman of Webcash Group Mr. Seok Chang Kue, Mr. Kim Hyun Rae Deputy CEO of KB Prasac Bank, Director of Korea Software HRD Center Mr. Kim Han-Soo, Deputy Director Mr. Chen Phirum, Mr. Seol Wookhwan, CEO of KOSIGN Dr. Kim Taekyung professor of Chungbuk National University and all instructors and the 13th generation students of Korea Software HRD Center. In addition, partner, Heads of Information Science Colleges at Universities in Cambodia,companies, and representatives from local and international companies that invest in information technology, were also participating in the event. During the ceremony, Chairman of Webcash Group, Mr. Seok Chang Kue, thanked and congratulated the students for their patience, hard work and for successfully completing their projects. He said he is ready to improve the curriculum at the Korea Software Development Center to keep up with the fast changes in AI. He also promised to support the center forever.He also advised the students to continue to study and research in order to compete in the industry, both in Cambodia and abroad. Moreover, Mr. Kim Hyun Rae representative of KB Prasac Bank show high appreciation to the students ‘result today. In Addition, At the end of the ceremony, awards were presented to the students, followed by a photo session and a buffet dinner at the hotel.
Special Lecture topic “Future of Junior Developers in the Era of Living & Working with AI “
On July 1st, 2025, Korea Software HRD Center organized a special lecture on topic “Future of Junior Developers in the Era of Living & Working with AI “ this topic was delivered by Mr. Kim Han-Soo, Director of Korea Software HRD Center. with the participation of Mr. Chen Phirum, deputy director, instructors and 13th Generation Basic Course students. In this seminar, he explained how AI technology is becoming a part of our daily lives, the differences between Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Deep Learning, and how each of them works. He also talked about what IT students should do to prepare and stay competitive in the future. This topic has received great attention from all students. To conclude the event, there was a photo session together.
